Phase 2 (Years 9/10/11)

Enrichment in Year 9-11

 

Pathway 1 and 2 students

Pathway 1 and 2 students will take part in Enrichment activities throughout the year.

Students will take part in 4 sessions for 9 weeks each. Students will, where appropriate, move to different rooms and be taught by different teachers for each subject.

These subjects will include-

  • The world about me
  • Art
  • Music and Drama
  • Independence and Interaction

 

Duke of Edinburgh candidates and Pathway 3 students.

Students taking part in the DofE this year will team up with pathway 3 students during Enrichment sessions.

They will work on the various elements required to fulfil the Duke Of Edinburgh award. These modules will include a ‘physical’ and ‘skills’ module for Bronze award students and volunteering for Silver students.

Both bronze, silver and pathway 3 students will also take part in outdoor education, art and music sessions.

Nurture and Wellbeing in Year 9-11.

Students throughout the department will take part in a range of activities designed to promote the mental and physical wellbeing of all students.

 

Students will interact, enjoy, compete, exercise, pamper and relax.

The following tables gives the lesson headings with possible examples of activities that students may engage with. Students will take part in the following areas for 7 week blocks.
