Phase 2 Accreditation

In Phase 2 our students are working towards the Junior Forester Award. This award is a practical based award that offers skills in 6 different areas. The Junior Forester Award gives children and young people an insight into a career in Forestry as well as the practical ability to assist in woodland management in their schools and local communities.

The 6 areas of the award are;

1. Woodland Habitats
2. Habitat Creation
3. Woodland Management
4. Forestry Ambassadors
5. Managing Risk
6. Tree and Plant I.D

Students work on the award throughout the year and then they are presented with the Junior Forester Award.
