School dental surgery opening hours: 8.00am to 4.00pm.
All children within school are eligible for dental care in our clinic.
SCREENING: Our aim is that children will be examined annually, on return of a screening consent form at the beginning of the school year.
REQUESTS FOR TREATMENT:
NON-URGENT CASES: If you would like the dentist to see your child please write a message in the home/school book or write a note that can be placed in our pigeon hole in school. Alternatively telephone school.
URGENT CASES: In the first instance, please try and contact us at the clinic in school. If your child urgently requires treatment when the dental team are not in school please telephone: –

Please call the NHS Emergency Service 111 for advice.
TREATMENT: before we can do any treatment, written consent will be obtained from parents/guardians. In an emergency effort will be made to obtain verbal consent.
Parents are free to attend appointments by prior arrangement with the dental team. They may also telephone at any time for further information relating to the oral health of their child.
Following treatment, letters will routinely be sent home to parents detailing the treatment carried out at that appointment.
