Immersion day (RE celebrations)
We at Talbot strongly believe and proudly promote our “Talbot Values” where people of all faiths and of no faith are equally valued, respected and appreciated.
Mutual Respect, Peace, Love and Care for each other is at the heart of everything we do. This was brightly reflective, in our Immersion day where all students and staff were positively engaged in enriching activities throughout the school to explore the theme of “Celebrations” in different religions. It was lovely to see the happy, calm and an interactive learning environment throughout the school in all key stages. We are proud of our enriching and diverse Talbot Family.
Lord Mayors Award Camping day Year 7/8
Y7/8 had a fantastic day at North Lees Campsite near hathersage for the adventurous part of the Lord Mayors Award. All the Y7/8 groups went out and all students experienced being involved in putting up a tent. The students made wraps for their lunch preparing the ingredients such as chopping salad and grating cheese. After lunch some students went for a walk and for the first time this year one group walked as far as Stanage edge. The weather was lovelly and everyone agreed it had been a great day.
