Talbot Specialist School’s Governors.
Deputy Chair of Governors
Our family includes four adult children and one very recent granddaughter. Our two younger children have learning disabilities: our daughter aged 25 was educated in mainstream school and is living at home; our son aged 21 was at Talbot until he was 17, continued his education in Weelsby College, Grimsby and has been living independently, but with support, in Sheffield for 18 months.
I’ve been a governor at Talbot for around ten years. Up to the recent reorganisation of governor committees I was chair of the Partnerships and Performance committee and the Leadership for Learning Committee. Under the new committee structure I am a member of the Student and Parental Engagement Committee and Chair of the Partnerships Committee.
