Talbot’s Pride in Sheffield Star
Talbot staff have been thrilled to see ex-colleague, Wendy Cooper’s stunning smile featured on billboards across Sheffield for the last month as she stars in a special
St Luke’s Hospice fund raising campaign.
Wendy was chosen by St Luke’s as not only has she bravely battled cancer for the last decade, but because they felt her positive attitude to life, support for her family and fantastic fund raising work would act as an inspiration to fellow cancer sufferers and their families. You can read more about Wendy and hear her story by following this link http://www.stlukeshospice.org.uk/
Wendy has fund raised tirelessly for St Luke’s and Cancer Research for the last ten years, for example, completing numerous Race for Life events and baking cakes, and inspiring staff to do the same, in order to fund raise here in school . Wendy is also a talented artist and has utilised this skill hand painting exquisite silk scarves at St Luke’s, which again she sells for charity. Her Facebook page provides inspiration to her numerous friends and followers.
We are so proud to know you, Wendy, and applaud St Luke’s choice of you as their very special
Sheffield Poster Girl!
